So as many of you know, I have four younger sisters (they aren't little anymore). Each one is very different and special in their very own way. As sisters, we have cried together, laughed together, laughed so hard until we cried, cried and fought over boys, beat up boys...you get the picture.
As the years have gone on and my sisters have grown into beautiful women, I have grown to love them even more...and I love their children more than I ever thought was possible. But what do you do when several of your sisters aren't getting along and they want you to choose a side? What do you do when the whole family can't even be in the same room together because of the anger and animosity that are primarily a result of pride that someone can't let go.
I constantly remind them that no matter what happens...no matter how angry we get with each other...we will be together forever so "Suck it up and Shut it up" has become my latest catch phrase...but the stubborn one just won't listen. Sometimes I wish we could all go back to the days where our biggest problems were boys and clothes...
Yikes! I know your sisters (and you!) and you are all amazing. I hope it gets figured out very soon. You are blessed to have such a wonderful family....even if you have bumps along the way.
ReplyDeleteI have been there too although I only have one sister she can be stubborn and awesome all in the same day. but just move on being the good example you are and continue to love them and do things with them and if they begin to gossip about each other just say I am not gonna talk about them cause I love them. Anyways everyone is different and nothing works for everyone. Pray for them!
